Here's a little bit about myself.

I was born and raised in Singapore for the first many years of my life.  After serving a compulsory stint in the military, I left for the San Francisco Bay Area to attend college.  I have been here ever since and love every single moment of it.  Hey, ain't it great to be alive! After finishing grad school in 2000, I joined a technology startup in San Jose where I'm the resident number cruncher.  I greatly enjoy working in the vibrant and challenging environment of the Silicon Valley. My interests include backpacking, skiing, old british cars and travel writing.  With these, I adopt a "work-all-week" but "play-all-weekend" lifestyle.  Grin ... try catching me at home on a Sat afternoon!   I was active with the various outdoor clubs in the Bay Area throughout my college days and continue to be an regular fixture with the Stanford Outing Club and Redwood Outdoor Club.  Check out my links page for more information.
